We believe in the ability of theatre to make a positive difference, on both our members and the wider community. At Call to Stage we will use our platform to not only provide opportunities to our members, but also support small businesses, charities, other theatre companies, and various important causes. We also advocate the power of theatre to promote social discourse and potential social change.

We will approach all projects with a respectful and encouraging attitude. By collaborating with our team members in this way, we believe innovation will occur naturally and personal strengths and talents can flourish, enabling us to break boundaries both on and off stage.

We strive to break tradition and encourage creative thinking to ensure our productions are original, thought-provoking, and high-quality. We recognise the failings of theatre, both on and off stage, and will make a conscious effort to rectify them through a transparent process open to continuous learning.

We are committed to prioritising the welfare and enjoyment of the CTS community, and respect the time and effort our members give. Through our Code of Conduct we promote freedom of expression and open communication within a respectful and collaborative environment, focused on the wellbeing of all. We also aim to work for the benefit of the community as a whole, by cultivating relationships with local charities and utilising our platform to spread awareness and advocate significant causes.

At Call to Stage, we provide an encouraging, welcoming environment and psychologically safe space. We believe that this environment facilitates an innovative process, in which creatives can explore their ideas organically, and cast members can express themselves fully. This is achieved, not only through our Code of Conduct and general respectful attitude, but also through hosting frequent socials to allow for bonding and having assigned welfare officers to ensure the wellbeing of members is a priority.
